ENGINEERING COURSES IN INDIA (Part-1)

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
  The eligibility requirement for B.E / B.Tech and B.Arch courses is a pass in 10 +2 examination in the science stream with mathematics as one of the combinations. One can compete on an all-India basis for admission to the prominent colleges by qualifying at the AIEEE-All India Engineering Entrance Examination or any of the entrance examination conducted by different states or institutes. For admission to the (seven) IITs, you must clear JEE-Joint Entrance Examination.

Major Branches of Engineering

Acoustic Engineering:
     Designing of buildings and rooms to make them quiet, improving conditions for listening to speech and music in auditoriums and halls and developing techniques and sound absorbing materials to reduce noise pollution.
Aerospace Engineering:
     Developing of various technologies relating to air-crafts, spaceships and missiles that are designed for flight in the earth's atmosphere and in outer space.
Aeronautical Engineering:
     Applying engineering principles and techniques to the design construction and operation of  air-crafts.
Agricultural Engineering:
     Designing agricultural equipment, erosion control and land conservation projects, and processing, transporting and storing of agricultural products. 
Automobiles Engineering:
     Developing various technologies relating to automobiles and other motor vehicles and their design and management of production.
Biomedical Engineering:
     Applying engineering techniques to health related problems.
Chemical Engineering:
     Deals with the large-scale processing of chemical and chemical products for industrial and consumer uses.
Computer Engineering:
     Developing and improving computers, storage and printout units and computer information network.
Electrical Engineering:
     Developing, producing and testing of electrical and electronic devises and equipment, such as, generations to produce and distribute electricity, electric motors and other electrical machinery, transmission lines.

HIGHER EDUCATION LOANS IN INDIA


   This scheme is started with a view to develop the education of Indian students.

    Qualification :
  •  Should be the citizen of India.
  •  Should study through regular course.
  •  Should study in Recognized Institutions of Indian Government.
  •  Should pass in TNPC Exam.
  •  Only notable institutional student are eligible to apply.
  •  There are many varieties of loans.
  •  Examination Fee / Library fee / Book fee / Apparatuses / Instruments /  
          Uniform / Deposit / Building fund / Income.
  •  Transport Charges / Studies in Abroad for computer purchase.
  •  Educational tour / for going to Abroad Universities / Budgetting session.
    Educational Loan Amount : (Subject to vary)             
  •   Highest ceiling is 7.5 lacks depends on different banks.
  •   Minimum 4 lacks.
  •   Subsidiary amount reaches within the share amount.
  •   Share can be got every year.
      Interest Rates :  (Subject to vary)           
  •   Calculated on the basis of yearly interest.
  •   It depends upon the sanctioned loan amount.
  •   Till 4 lacks - 9.75 % interest.
  •   Above 4 lacks - 9.75% interest.
  •   Should be paid in Quarterly / Half--yearly interest.
  •   Late payment will be levied penalty if the loan amount is above 2 lacks. 
    Repayment System :
  •   It is given to the students. No need to pledge possessions of parents    /guardians.
  •   No need to mortgage in the name of the students.
  •   The students can repay during the course or after 6 months of complition.
  •   Tenure of Repayments : 5 yrs- 10 yrs unable to pay within the stipulated period, further 2  year will be given with penalty interest.
